The "Pickin' Place"
On Saturday, January 12th 2008, Mountain Music introduced "The Pickin' Place" ~ a friendly spot in the middle of the store where people can feel free to sit and do some serious pickin' & singing. The first folks to give it a test run were Jim & Bonnie Tracy of Old Forge, NY, doing a great mix of acoustic music on Guitar, Banjo, and Slap Bass.All Bluegrass & Traditional acoustic musicians are welcome to stop by and do a bit of pickin', and if they like, we can make a digital recording of their session which we can put on CD for the cost of materials.
